Network Configuration & Activation Apprentice - Malakoff

Join our Network Configuration & Activation Apprenticeship, where you’ll support the setup and delivery of network services across Colt’s platforms. Working alongside experienced teams, you’ll gain hands-on experience configuring, testing, and activating network services, building the technical skills needed for a career in telecommunications.

What you’ll be doing:

Working in our Operations & Engineering function, you’ll support the delivery and activation of network services, ensuring they are configured, tested, and operational for our customers.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Supporting the configuration and activation of Layer 2 network services
  • Assisting with testing, validation, and post-commissioning checks
  • Coordinating with field technicians, internal teams, and customers
  • Troubleshooting network issues and supporting fault resolution
  • Managing incident tickets and updating systems following service activation

Who are we looking for?

You should be in your final year of study or completing a Bachelor’s degree in Networks & Telecommunications, Cybersecurity, or a related field. You must be fluent in French and English, with a strong interest in network technologies.

Project Management Apprentice - Malakoff

Join our Project Management Apprentice role as a Junior Customer Project Manager, and you’ll play a key part in delivering complex, customer‑focused projects for enterprise clients across a range of industries, including manufacturing, luxury, and banking.

This role is based in France, with the opportunity to support projects in Spain and Italy while working remotely.

What you’ll be doing:

Working within our Service Delivery function, you’ll manage customer projects from handover through to delivery, acting as the main point of contact throughout the transition phase.

You’ll also be responsible for:

  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers during the project transition phase
  • Ensuring projects are delivered in line with agreed timelines, budgets, and Colt delivery standards
  • Following Colt’s project management methodology, producing customer deliverables and reporting against key KPIs
  • Coordinating with cross‑functional teams across service delivery to ensure successful end‑to‑end delivery

Who are we looking for?

You must be in your final year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in a technical field related to telecommunications, networking, or engineering. You must be fluent in English as well as fluent or native in French, and comfortable working in a multinational environment.
